Ethiopian opal is a hydrophane stone. This means that the stone can absorb and lose liquids. Do not let the stone get wet and let all body care products dry completely before the stone comes into contact with the skin. In case of accidental contact with water: dry the stone well and let it dry further in natural conditions, not in bright sunlight.
