Ethiopian opal is a hydrophanous stone. This means the stone can absorb and lose liquids. Do not let the stone get wet and let all body care products dry completely before the stone comes into contact with the skin. In case of accidental contact with water: dry the stone thoroughly and let it continue to dry under natural conditions, not in direct sunlight.
