Ethiopian opal is a hydrophane stone. This means that the stone can absorb and lose liquids. Do not let the stone get wet and let all body care products dry completely before the stone comes into contact with the skin. In case of accidental contact with water: dry the stone thoroughly and let it air dry under natural conditions, not in direct sunlight.
